About Global Payment
The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on various ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

About the team
Our Customer Service team in Global Payment is committed to deliver the best-in-class support on all payment related inquiries to our merchants who are responsible for end user's experience.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to the following internship cycles below:

Malaysia
Off cycle - May to October, 2025 (Full Time)

Responsibilities:
  • Customer Support: Provide best in class back-office support to the frontline customer service team by addressing payment related inquiries and concerns.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies on payin and payout and other transaction-related issues.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross functional teams, including key merchants, Technical Support, Compliance, Risk to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to payment operations and perform analysis for operational improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in all payment-related activities.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:
  • Final year undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in payment industry
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Prior experience in customer service or the payments industry is a plus.
