Key Responsibilities:

1. Beverage & Food Preparation

  • Brew and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages following Soleh Coffee’s quality standards.
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment.
  • Steam and froth milk to create consistent textures for various coffee drinks.
  • Ensure accurate and visually appealing beverage presentation.
  • Assist in preparing and serving light food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and desserts.

2. Customer Service & Sales

  • Greet customers warmly and create a friendly café experience.
  • Take and process customer orders accurately while offering menu recommendations.
  • Upsell additional products such as desserts, signature drinks, and merchandise.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.

3. Cashiering & Order Management

  • Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system to handle transactions smoothly.
  • Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
  • Manage takeaway and delivery orders efficiently.

4. Café Maintenance & Hygiene

  • Maintain a clean and organized café, including the workstation, coffee bar, and dining areas.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning tasks.

5. Catering Support & Event Preparation

  • Assist in preparing and packaging food and beverages for catering orders.
  • Support café catering events by setting up coffee stations and serving guests.
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure timely and high-quality catering service.
  • Help load and transport catering supplies when needed.
  • Ensure all catering equipment is cleaned and properly stored after events.

6. Stock & Inventory Management

  • Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.
  • Assist in restocking supplies and organizing inventory.
  • Notify management of any stock shortages or supply needs.

7. Teamwork & Professional Growth

  • Work collaboratively with teammates to maintain smooth café operations.
  • Participate in barista training and workshops to enhance skills.
  • Stay informed on new menu items, seasonal promotions, and industry trends.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
