Shipping Assistant or Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of a company's shipping line and delivery processes to warehouse, ensuring efficient movement of goods from Port to Warehouse by coordinating the transportor providers, tracking shipments, resolving logistics issues, and maintaining communication between various departments to optimize the supply chain and meet customer demands on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies
  • Managing all important documents such as advanced shipping notices, packing lists, certificates of Origin, COA, bills of lading etc.
  • Track orders, follow up on the shipment, and ensure timely delivery
  • Review the quality of purchased products, and the stock count
  • Directing the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
  • Liase with shipping forwarder and container reach to destination
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
  • Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and other managers to optimize processes
  • Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies
  • Report to management on activities and issues that delay shipment

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess SPM, Diploma in Business Administation, Supply Chain in Logistic Management or a related field.
  • Able to handle shipping clearance with the shipper.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • Language proficiency in English and Mandarin with the overseas supplier
  • Able to work in Selayang, Batu Cave. nearby Selayang hospital
  • Full-time position(s) available.
