Associate Art Director is responsible for overseeing and guiding the visual and artistic elements of a project or campaign. They work closely with Client servicing/Strategy and Creative teams, including graphic designers, copywriters, video and other professionals, to ensure that the visual aspects of a project align with the overall creative vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptualization: Collaborate with the Creative & Strategy team and clients to develop creative concepts and ideas for projects, retainers or campaigns.
  2. Visual Direction: Provide artistic direction and guidance to ensure that the visual elements, including design, photography, and illustration, meet the project's goals and brand guidelines.
  3. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of designers, assigning tasks and ensuring that work is completed on time with the KPI's met.
  4. Creative Strategy: Develop and communicate the overall creative strategy for a project, ensuring that it aligns with the client's objectives and brand identity.
  5. Artistic Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging creative techniques, and encourage continuous skill development within the creative team.
  6. Storyboarding and Layout: Create storyboards, mood boards, and layouts to visually represent ideas and concepts to clients and team members.
  7. Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, present creative concepts, and incorporate feedback into the design and creative process.
  8. Quality Control: Review and approve all visual elements within the team to ensure they meet the highest quality standards and are consistent with the creative vision.
  9. Project Coordination: Coordinate with other departments/teams, to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  10. Presentation Skills: Present creative concepts and ideas to clients and stakeholders, both verbally and visually.
