RESPONSIBILITIES 1. TO ENSURE OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY OF THE SECTION BY ALLOCATING WORK WITHIN ASSIGNED SHIFT. 2. TO ENSURE DAY-TO-DAY EFFICIENCY OF THE SECTION BY SUPERVISING AND EVALUATING STAFF PERFORMANCE AND REPORTING REGULARLY ON HAPPENINGS WITHIN THE SECTION. 3. TO FOLLOW-UP ON NO-SHOW LIST AND GROUP WASH DOWN DAILY. 4. TO UPDATE CORPORATE RATES AND TRAVEL AGENT RATES IN BOOKING SYSTEM. 5. TO PREPARE MONTHLY DUTY ROSTER FOR RESERVATION CLERKS. 6. TO SUPERVISE THE CONFIRMATION OF HOTEL RESERVATION VIA LETTER, EMAIL OR FAX WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIPT OF THE ROOM RESERVATIONS. 7. TO CHECK ARRIVAL LIST, SPECIAL BILLING ARRANGEMENTS, MEAL PLAN CODES, TRACES AND UPDATE CORRECT INPUT OF ORIGIN, MARKET SEGMENTATION, RATES AND SPECIAL REQUESTS, VIP, ETC. ON DAILY BASIS. 8. TO SUPERVISE FILING OF ALL CORRESPONDENCES DAILY ACCORDING TO DATE/MONTH/YEAR. 9. TO COORDINATING ALL RESERVATIONS INPUT FOR FIT/GIT/GROUPS/SEMINARS/CREW. 10. TO GIVE CURRENT UPDATE ON RESERVATION TRENDS AND FORECAST FOR CURRENT AND FUTURE RESERVATIONS EVERY THURSDAY. COPIES TO BE SUBMITTED TO FRONT OFFICE MANAGER FOR MORNING BRIEFING. 11. TO KNOWLEDGE OF DETAILED PROCEDURES IN HANDLING LOCAL AND OVERSEAS ROOM RESERVATIONS. 12. TO KEEP UPDATED ON ROOM SITUATIONS OF THE HOTEL AND MAINTAINING A CLOSE CONTROL DURING OVERBOOKING SITUATIONS. 13. TO REPORT ON HAPPENINGS OF THE SECTION. 14. TO OVERSEE THE OVERALL OPERATION OF THE RESERVATION DEPARTMENT. 15. TO BE AWARE AND ANALYZE THE CORPORATE MARKET AND TO INFORM THE FOM/MARCOMM SHOULD THERE BE A DROP IN ROOM PRODUCTION. 16. TO FOLLOW UP ON LETTERS OF UNDERTAKING FOR CREDIT ARRANGEMENTS AND COPIES TO ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT FOR APPROVAL. OTHERS 1. TO PERFORM ANY OTHER DUTIES OR ASSIGNMENTS AS AND WHEN DIRECTED BY THE MANAGEMENT.
