Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing activities. This role focuses on process improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement in metal stamping, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for metal stamping, sheet metal fabrication, and product assembly. Analyze production workflows to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum output. Design and implement tooling, jigs, and fixtures to improve production efficiency and consistency. Collaborate with product engineers, quality teams, and production staff to resolve manufacturing challenges. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for production processes. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) methodologies to drive process efficiency. Work with suppliers and vendors to improve material quality and cost-effectiveness. Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability and smooth transition to mass production.
