Duties, Functions and Job Description 1. Sustainability Initiatives: • Developing Sustainability Strategies: • The Employee will be tasked with developing comprehensive sustainability strategies and initiatives in alignment with the Company's mission and objectives. These strategies will focus on minimizing environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices across all aspects of the Company's operations. • Implementing Sustainable Practices: • The Employee will oversee the implementation of sustainable practices within the organization, including but not limited to waste reduction, energy efficiency improvements, and resource conservation measures. They will work closely with relevant departments to ensure the successful integration and adoption of these practices. • Monitoring Environmental Performance: • Monitoring and assessing the environmental performance of the Company's operations will be a key responsibility. The Employee will track and analyze key metrics such as carbon footprint, water usage, and waste generation to identify areas for improvement and track progress towards sustainability goals. 2. Compliance Management: • Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: • The Employee will ensure that the Company complies with all applicable environmental regulations, laws, and standards at local, national, and international levels. This will involve staying updated on relevant legislation and ensuring that Company practices and operations remain compliant. • Conducting Compliance Audits: • Regular compliance audits and assessments will be conducted by the Employee to identify any areas of non-compliance. These audits will be comprehensive and will involve assessing various aspects of Company operations to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. • Providing Compliance Training: • The Employee will develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees to ensure awareness and understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements. These programs will help foster a culture of compliance within the organization. 3. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activities: • Developing CSR Programs: • The Employee will play a pivotal role in developing and coordinating CSR programs and initiatives that align with the Company's values and objectives. These programs may include community engagement, philanthropic activities, and initiatives to support social causes. • Pleasant personality, hardworking, discipline, honest and reliable, able to work extended hours. • Engaging Stakeholders: • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders will be essential in promoting CSR activities. The Employee will collaborate with employees, customers, suppliers, and community partners to enhance CSR efforts and build positive relationships. • Reporting and Communication: • The Employee will be responsible for preparing reports on CSR activities, progress, and impact. These reports will be communicated internally and externally to demonstrate the Company's commitment to social responsibility and accountability. 4. International Sustainable Carbon Certification (ISCC) Internal Audit Preparation: • Conducting Internal Audits: • The Employee will lead the preparation for internal audits related to ISCC certification requirements. This will involve reviewing processes, documentation, and practices to ensure readiness for external audits. • Documenting Procedures and Controls: • Documenting procedures and controls relevant to ISCC certification will be a key aspect of the Employee's responsibilities. They will ensure that all processes related to carbon accounting, emissions monitoring, and sustainability reporting are accurately documented and followed. • Coordinating with Auditors: • The Employee will coordinate with external auditors during ISCC certification audits, providing necessary documentation, facilitating interviews, and addressing audit findings and recommendations. 5. Quality Control: • To start a simple laboratory and conduct testing for incoming waste oil (FFA and M&I) • To ensure all company assets are always maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition. • Complete all necessary documentation to ensure all waste oil are carried legally and within the terms of company policies & procedures. • Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities. • Perform laboratory tests, prepare samples/specimens, perform daily quality control checks if necessary. • Prepare reports with reliable data, Interpret results based on findings, Use latest methodologies and best practices. • Adhere to correct procedures and policies, document all activities, maintain, and track results • Manage material flow to ensure inventory is maintained to the optimum level to support on time customer deliveries while keeping inventory holdings at the appropriate levels. • Support any data management and administration works related to MPOB and ISCC data submission, maintenance, and audit. 6. Awareness Programs: • Conducting Educational Talks: • The Employee will organize and conduct educational talks and presentations at schools, community centers, and public events. These talks will focus on raising awareness about the benefits of used cooking oil recycling for biodiesel production, emphasizing environmental and economic advantages. • Engaging with the Public: • Engaging with the public will involve actively promoting understanding and participation in used cooking oil recycling initiatives. The Employee will interact with individuals and communities, highlighting the importance of biodiesel production and waste reduction for environmental sustainability.
