Job Summary: The Senior Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, including stamping presses and assembly machines. This role ensures that all machinery operates efficiently with minimal downtime by implementing preventive maintenance plans and resolving technical issues. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on stamping machines, assembly equipment, and related production machinery. Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner. Work closely with production teams to identify and address equipment performance issues. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment failures, and repairs. Assist in the installation and testing of new machinery and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance standards. Train junior technicians on equipment maintenance procedures. Qualifications: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, preferably in metal stamping or manufacturing. Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automation systems is a plus. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
