Korea - Planning Analyst Supply Chain

1) Review and analyze historical sales with Korea affiliate’s commercial team and distributor and establish a demand trend to build a baseline supply plan for Korea affiliate/market 2) Experienced in managing and dealing with local Korean Customs, third party suppliers in a business context and a need to interpret local regulation and translate to business workflow. 3) Analyze and drive monthly S&OP meeting with Korea Commercial team to determine any one-off event, seasonality and additional/reduction in demand due to market/customer penetration/exit to finalize the demand plan for Korea market 4) Analyze salable inventory onhand for all Abbott analyzer and reagent for Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay stock including in-transit, safety stock level and transit time to workout the supply requirement using ADDOne tools and raise the order to source DC timely 5) Regular review of inventory DOH (Days On Hand) to minimize out of stock and backorder. Collaborate with global planner to expedite backorder from source 6) Collaborate with Area Demand and Supply Planning Head and Korea Commercial to align on inventory holding stratedy, safety stock, order frequency, mimimum shelf life, lot sequestering & shipping mode to maximize order fill rate and minimize inventory holding and freight cost 7) Coordinate with source DC logistics, forwarder & custom broker to track shipment for timely departure and arrival to Korea. Coordinate with source DC on delay or discrepancy 8) Regular review and analysis of inventory to reduce slow moving, obsolescence and distress inventory, report timely to Finance on any significant distress 9) Responsible to initiate Change Request to Master Data team for all new material master creation, extension or revision in SAP 10) Collaborate with Korea affiliates logistics and 3PL on inventory accuracy at Korea warehouse. Report timely to Finance on any significant variance 11) Responsible for timely inventory destruction at the Korea warehouse. Coordinate with Korea Service team for disposition of idle intrument at the warehouse 12) Collaborate with Global SME to maximize the use of planning tools ADDOne and provide feedback to Planning Head for improvement on planning process 13) 1st contact point for Korea Commercial team on inventory availability 14) Publish/review Supply Chain metric in relation to inventory DOH, distress, order fill rate, backorder value as well as the performance of source DC. Automate reporting. 15) Support Korea Area on continuous improvement program to drive efficiency and Gross Margin Improvement initiatives related to Planning 16) Regular review and provide feedback to managers to any process gaps on Planning playbook to keep it up to date against actual proces 17) Ensure all workflow and processes adher to Abbott OEC policy and procedures • At least 4 years of working experience in forecast planning or supply chain in global healthcare, medical device, or pharma with 1-2 years in APAC or SEA region • Must be familiar with Korea market regulation with at least 1-2 years supporting Korea market in healthcare, medical device, or pharma industry • Candidate with 5-7 years relevant working experience will be considered as Planning Specialist • Experience in using SAP, MRP or other planning tools (e.g. APO or ADDOne) • Possess an analytical and problem solving mindset with strong sense of numbers • Experience in dealing with inbound logsitics and warehouse operation • Proactive, strong interpersonal and communication skills in multi-cultural enviroment • Strong influencing skills. Passionate, self-driven & can do attitude • Proficient in reading and writing of Korean and English is a must with multiligual of other Asian languages is a plus • Computer literacy. Strong in MS Excel, Powerpoint and Power BI. Knowledge of macro is a plus
