Key Responsibilities 1. Modeling & Simulation: - Develop, implement, and manage environmental simulations to model various environmental systems (air quality, water flow, waste management, ecological impacts, etc.). - Use simulation software (e.g., IESVE, Cradle, Dialux) or specialized environmental modeling tools) to create predictive models. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify environmental variables and data inputs for accurate simulations. 2. Data Analysis & Interpretation: - Analyze large sets of environmental data, including field data and sensor outputs, to calibrate and validate simulation models. - Interpret simulation results to provide actionable insights for environmental impact assessments and remediation strategies. - Assist in preparing reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate complex findings to clients and stakeholders. 3. Environmental Impact Assessment: - Conduct impact assessments by using simulations to predict the potential effects of human activities (e.g., industrial operations, construction projects) on the environment. - Work with regulatory agencies and clients to ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations. 4. Optimization & Decision Support: - Develop optimization algorithms to suggest environmentally sustainable solutions or mitigation strategies for projects. - Provide decision support through simulation outcomes for projects such as pollution control, waste management, water resource management, and habitat restoration. 5. Software Development & Improvement: - Assist in customizing or developing simulation software tailored to the specific needs of environmental projects. - Continuously improve the accuracy and efficiency of simulation models by staying updated on new techniques, technologies, and methodologies. 6. Reporting: - Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for clients, detailing simulation methodologies, results, and recommendations. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. • Strong proficiency in simulation and modeling software (e.g., IESVE, Cradle, Dialux). • Knowledge of environmental regulations, policies, and sustainability practices. • Fundamental knowledge about Green Building Certification. • Ability to process and analyze large environmental datasets. • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. • Effective communication skills for presenting technical data to non-technical stakeholders. • Experience in environmental impact assessments and familiarity with relevant environmental modeling standards. Benefits: - Paid Time Off - Personal Accident Insurance - Healthcare spending or reimbursement - Commuting/travel assistance - Hybrid work arrangement
