In line with the Purpose of our school, and within the school, phase and staff improvement agendas, Teachers: Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils Demonstrate the right subject and curriculum knowledge Plan and teach well-structured lessons Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils Make sound and productive use of assessment. Manage behaviour effectively to ensure an enjoyable and safe learning environment Service Mindedness Demonstrates a caring, supportive and friendly attitude when carrying out duties and interacting with those in and outside of the school community. Must have UK / International working experience Fulfil wider professional responsibilities Demonstrate consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct Safeguarding Children Display a commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children in line with the school policy. Report ANY behaviour by colleagues, parents or children, which raises concern. Qualification: - A Bachelor’s degree in education with Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) - Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience in United Kingdom accredited International Schools - Having experience with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) is a significant advantage -prefer native speakers or those with teaching experience in an English-speaking environment.
