Safety and Health Officer (SHO)

1. Reports to Project Manager and Vice President, Safety, Health, Environment and Logistic (SHE & L) and advice the project team on the practical implementation of OHS at workplace. 2. To coordinate all the Safety and Health activities of the project and to provide liaison with the relevant authorities regarding Safety and Health matters. 3. To assist the Safety and Health Manager in preparation, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the OHS management system. 4. Act as the Secretary of RD Resources Sdn Bhd’s Site Safety and Health Committee. 5. To implement all relevant policies, activities, procedures, instructions as required by the OHS management system. 6. To conduct inspections and audits as required by the Safety and Health program. 7. To ensure that applicable health and safety legislative and related requirements are fulfilled. 8. To promote health and safety awareness and conduct health and safety induction. 9. To implement and monitor health and safety programmed work sites. 10.
