Job Responsibilities:
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) to determine potential defects
- Use NDT equipment (e.g., handheld, eddy-current, ultrasonic)
- Perform NDT calibrations
- Perform NDT evaluation and inspection
- Label and package parts
- Understand inspection/test procedure to industry standards
- Obtain and interpret inspection reports
- Perform NDT testing (e.g., ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, fluorescent dye)
- Perform NDT measurements (e.g., thickness, size, strength, density, etc.)
- Traveling to clients' locations.
- Completing test reports, and presenting findings.
- Maintaining NTD equipment.
- Comply to requirement of ISO 9001 and ISO 17020
- Attend operation meeting when require.
- Report incidents and hazard on MAIA application.
Job Requirements:
- At least SPM or Diploma holder from recognized academic institution.
- Able to work as a team with minimum supervision.
- Have willingness to learn and gain new knowledge.
- Relevant NDT certification in MT/PT/UT.
- 3+ years' experience as an NDT technician.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building schematics.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent report-writing skills.
- Good communication skills.
