Job Overview: Provides comprehensive eye examinations, diagnoses vision issues, and prescribes corrective measures to enhance patients’ eye health. Key Responsibilities: Eye Examinations: Conduct detailed eye examinations using specialized instruments to assess visual acuity and overall eye health. Diagnosis & Prescription: Diagnose vision problems and eye conditions, and prescribe corrective lenses or treatments as needed. Patient Education: Advise patients on eye care practices, explain examination results, and outline treatment options clearly. Collaboration & Follow-Up: Work closely with optical staff to ensure seamless service; maintain accurate patient records and follow-up on treatment plans. Record Keeping: Document examination findings, prescriptions, and treatment plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. Requirements: A degree in Optometry (Bachelor’s or Doctorate) with valid registration/licensure to practice in Malaysia. Proven clinical experience conducting eye examinations and managing vision care. Strong diagnostic, interpersonal, and communication skills.
