
Account Manager (Remote) for Content Agency

We specialize in B2B tech and engineering companies that are often considered "too complex to market." Our approach isn't about flashy creativity; it's about diving deep into our clients' industries to translate technical complexity into content that actually connects and drives results.
Our work spans strategic communications, key visual design, hybrid events, and content strategies involving explainers, documentaries, and webinars across South-East Asia and the broader APAC region. We're not here to create pretty content that wins awards – we're here to create effective content that helps businesses scale.
The Role
We're looking for an Account Manager (remote) who values substance over style and effectiveness over aesthetics. Someone who can dive deep into technical subjects without getting lost in the jargon, and who finds satisfaction in methodically breaking down complex problems.
You'll be the bridge between our clients' technical expertise and our content teams, ensuring that we deliver work that doesn't just look good but actually achieves business objectives. You're analytically minded enough to understand the metrics that matter, while being a strong enough communicator to maintain authentic client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage client relationships across the APAC region with authenticity and precision
- Develop and maintain methodical project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Dive deeper than the surface request to understand clients' underlying business objectives
- Collaborate with creative teams to translate technical briefs into effective content strategies
- Coordinate across departments, embracing our "Better Together" approach to delivery
- Participate in pitches and presentations with evidence-based reasoning rather than empty promises
- Monitor project profitability and manage scope changes with transparency
- Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle with attention to effectiveness, not just aesthetics
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 7+ years of client management experience in creative/content agencies, with proven track record managing B2B technology accounts
- Strong analytical project management skills, experienced in handling $100K+ project budgets
- Native/business-level English proficiency; additional APAC language skills (Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese, Thai, Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese) are valuable
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field (though we value demonstrated capability over formal credentials)
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into compelling client presentations that focus on impact, not just execution
