Job Scope:

  • Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, breast, vascular, and other relevant screenings, as part of comprehensive health assessments. Utilize advanced sonographic techniques to produce high-quality images that support early detection and accurate diagnosis of medical conditions.
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by clearly explaining the process, purpose, and importance of the screenings. Educate patients on preventive health measures and ensure they are comfortable and informed throughout the examination.
  • Analyze ultrasound images to identify potential abnormalities or areas of concern, providing accurate preliminary findings. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to confirm and discuss diagnostic results.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal functionality and accuracy. Perform regular quality control checks and promptly address any technical issues to uphold high imaging standards.
  • Accurately document patient information, screening details, and preliminary findings in the clinic’s electronic medical records system. Adhere to confidentiality, legal, and ethical standards in managing patient data.
  • Work closely with doctors and administrative staff to deliver efficient and coordinated patient care. Foster clear communication with patients and team members to ensure a seamless and positive experience.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Sonography or a related field.
  • Industry certification and state licensing will be an added advantage.
  • Strong technical, communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
  • Ability to explain technical terms in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Keen eyesight and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills.
