HR & Admin Manager
Job Summary: The HR and Admin Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources and Administration departments. This role combines leadership, HR management, and administrative responsibilities, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the organization. The HR and Admin Manager will be involved in recruitment, employee relations, policy implementation, office management, and general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Management
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Oversee the recruitment process, from posting job vacancies to conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.
- Manage onboarding and orientation for new employees.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering positive workplace relationships.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance appraisal systems.
- Advise managers on performance-related issues and employee development plans.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and create employee development programs.
- Coordinate and track internal and external training activities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage payroll processing and ensure employees receive timely and accurate compensation.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Policy Implementation:
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and labor laws.
Administrative Management
Office Management:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including maintaining office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Ensure the office environment is safe, clean, and conducive to productivity.
Documentation and Recordkeeping:
- Manage employee records, both physical and digital, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain and organize HR and administrative files and databases.
Event Management:
- Organize company events, meetings, and team-building activities.
- Coordinate logistics for conferences, workshops, and seminars.
Vendor and Facility Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., cleaning services, office equipment suppliers, etc.).
- Handle facility-related issues, such as office repairs and maintenance.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Assist in managing the HR and Admin department budget.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and cost-effective office management.
Other Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between management and employees.
- Assist senior leadership in organizational planning and development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Keep up to date with trends in HR management and the best administrative practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, Administrative Manager, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR practices.
- Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HRIS, payroll software) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Human Resources is a plus
- Experience in managing both HR and administrative functions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
