Job Summary:
The Technical Writer & Product Trainer is responsible for creating comprehensive technical documentation and delivering effective training programs for property management software. This dual role ensures that both internal teams and external clients are well-informed and proficient in using the software, enhancing overall user experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Writer
- Develop, organize, and write user guides, manuals, and other technical documentation for property management solution software.
- Collaborate with business architect, developers, and other stakeholders to gather and interpret technical information.
- Create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that caters to both non-technical audiences and documentation to be use for facing external audiences.
- Maintain and update documentation to reflect new features, enhancements, and changes in the in-house property management solution.
- Develop visual aids such as diagrams, flowcharts, and infographics to enhance understanding. Support in documenting SOP to be use for in-house operation team.
Product Trainer
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for internal teams and external clients on property management software and tools.
- Develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, and e-learning modules.
- Conduct training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to educate users on the functionalities and best practices of property management software.
- Assess training needs and customize training programs to meet the specific requirements of different user groups.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up training to ensure users are proficient in using the software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical writing and training, preferably in the property management or real estate industry or software industry.
- Strong skills in word processing and documentation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc )
- Experience with technical communication tools and content management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various technical teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to understand complex information and convey it in an effective and comprehensible manner.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in property management, real estate, or startup environments.
- Independent with the task given.
