Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition and Recruitment
  • Lead the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, to attract skilled talent for various construction roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify workforce needs and create job descriptions that align with project requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidate suitability, and manage offer negotiations.
  • Employee Onboarding and Orientation
  • Design and facilitate onboarding programs for new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
  • Oversee the orientation of employees on organizational policies.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to address workplace issues and resolve conflicts.
  • Foster a positive work environment through engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR Manager to handle complex employee relations cases and ensure consistent application of HR policies.
  • Performance Management
  • Support and assist the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, quarterly, mid-year reviews, and annual performance evaluations.
  • HR Data Management and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Generate HR metrics and reports for management on turnover rates, recruitment effectiveness, training hours, etc.
  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Oversee the payroll process, manage employee benefits, and support salary benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and relevant ISOs to the construction sector.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
