Job Responsibilities

  • To handle inquiries from workshop, various departments on disciplinary issues, staff grievances and labour disputes;
  • To provide counselling at workplace and carry out investigations as assigned
  • To assist in the implementation of effective disciplinary policies and procedures
  • To assist in the collective bargaining and compilation of collective agreement items
  • To issue disciplinary action notices for misconduct cases and necessary disciplinary actions to resolve the cases
  • To collate and compile evidence and documents for disciplinary action and/or submission to Industrial Court or Labour Court
  • To conduct investigation and Domestic Inquiry as Presenting Officer / Recording Officer
  • To review and update Company Policies relating to Industrial Relations
  • To assist in any ad-hoc assignments that may be assigned
  • To conduct Industrial Relations trainings and/or exit interviews

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Law/ Industrial Relations, Human Resources or equivalent with at least 4 years of working experience in related field.
  • Well-versed in Malaysian Labor, Industrial Relations Act, Employment Act and Trade Union Act
  • Possess strong communication and analytical skills with good command of written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia
