Job Description
- Match customer payments and update the DOT system daily while ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
- Verify trade invoices, issue credit notes, and manage sales invoice scanning with proper document filing.
- Prepare monthly payment reports for selected customer groups and track aging Accounts Receivables.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve invoicing issues and handle the distribution of original documents.
- Create and maintain Purchase Requisitions (PR), Goods Receipts (GR), and Accounts Payable (AP) invoices in financial systems.
- Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and assist in asset tagging and branch audits.
- Verify invoices for payment, issue Payment Vouchers (PVs), and update vendor accounts.
- Monitor tax-related documents and support compliance with statutory requirements such as SST/GST filing.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, audit schedules, and liaising with external auditors.
- Continuously improve accounting processes, collaborate with departments, and complete ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and financial tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Relevant work experience is an added advantage.
