Job summary:
The purpose of the role is to maximized availability of the plant and ensure they operate effectively, efficiently by having expertise in SIEMENS.
Job Description:
- Responsible for designing PLC control logic, programming PLCs, build SCADA system.
- Ability to modify & upload programs into PLCs.
- Ability in troubleshooting and rectification of automation system such as pneumatic & hydraulic cylinders, sensors, control valves, PLCs, conveyors and etc.
- Develop Engineering plans and proposal for new projects including system setup, supplier quotation request and costing preparation.
- Resolve technical issues throughout project execution, participate in on-site installation, system testing and commissioning.
- Support and guide maintenance technicians for unsolved daily troubleshooting related to automation control, electrical & instrument.
- Conduct technical training to technicians to enhance their troubleshooting skills and technical fundamental knowledge.
- Update & register new devices connected to OT network on IT platform.
- Lead & support the sustainability roadmaps & energy initiatives related to electrical/mechanical and monitor the effectiveness of the program.
- Work with maintenance engineers for closing work orders on timely basis. Ensure useful information have been entered into the SAP system.
- Establish, review & improve preventive maintenance programs for all machinery.
- Establish, review & improve LOTO for all machinery.
- Establish/Review spare parts quantity and availability.
Job Requirements:
- Should possess a degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation/Control Engineering with minimum 5 years of working experience in related field is required.
- Minimum 5 years working experienced as Control Engineer / Automation Engineer
- System expertise in Siemens S7 PLCs, WinCC, Starter manager & HMIs and Siemens Drive.
- Knowledge in SAP system.
- Experienced in the application of Health & Safety procedures with an understanding of the principles of Employment and Safety at Work Legislation, NIOSH, DOSH & DOE regulations.
- Demonstrable achievements in Continuous Improvement, Change Management disciplines, tools and techniques and evident motivation to impart these to others.
- Flexible to carry out any task as requested within their capability (training, competence)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM7,789.82 - RM10,413.17 per month
