Network Security Manager

We have a Network Security Manager opening on our team. It’s a contract role for 12 months.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in firewall and proxy management. We would greatly appreciate your support in sharing suitable profiles for this position.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in working with network security related projects
• In-depth knowledge of network security (Firewall, IPS, VPN, DLP, Proxy, WAF) in enterprise and cloud environment.
• Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, authentication systems, log management, content filtering & internet proxy and WAF.
• Experience with network technologies and with cloud computing, security, and network monitoring tools
• Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
• Deep understanding on web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
• Knowledge of best security practices and security benchmarks
• Certifications (Any of the below will be a value add):1.Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) / Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) / Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)2.Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional-Internet Access (ZCCP-IA) / Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator - Internet Access (ZCCA-IA)3.Certified Azure Security Engineer4.AKAMAI Cloud Security & Enterprise Security or equivalent5.Certified F5 Application Security Manager (ASM) or equivalentResponsible:
• Acquire a complete understanding of a company’s technology and information systems.
• Maintain firewall, proxy, WAF, IPS operations and documentation (current environment, SOP, Process)
• Identify, define and enforce system security requirements to business users
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Manage access controls and authentication mechanisms to ensure only authorized users have network access.
• Drive vendors and assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
• Analyze security data and trends to identify patterns and potential risks.
• Generate and conduct regular reports and reviews on security metrics, incidents, compliance, configurations and trends.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network security architecture, policies, and procedures.
• Develop technical solutions or automation tools to help mitigate security risk and automate repeatable tasks
• Configure, deploy and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
• Design, build, configuration, deployment and support of Web Application Firewall (WAF) and BOT mitigation policies for cloud WAF deployments
• Be the technical lead to onboard new security technologies or expand the capabilities of existing systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving a wide variety of client issues

Note- Priority will be given to Malaysians, but expats based in KL can also be considered.

Pay: RM5,708.60 - RM15,000.00 per month
