We are looking for an experienced Mineral Processing Engineer with expertise in tin and tungsten processing to lead our operations. This role involves managing a large team, achieving production goals, and optimizing processes. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and Shareholders, driving innovation and efficiency in mineral processing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of 50+ workers and engineers.
  • Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work culture

Overseeing Tin and Tungsten Processing Operations:

  • Manage daily operations at tin and tungsten processing plants for maximum efficiency and quality.
  • Develop strategies to improve recovery rates and production efficiency.

Target Setting and Performance Monitoring:

  • Set clear production targets and KPIs for tin and tungsten processing.
  • Track progress, address issues, and align operations with company goals.

Technical Expertise in Tin and Tungsten:

  • Provide technical guidance on processing techniques, equipment optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Research and implement solutions to improve recovery processes.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare and present reports on production performance, challenges, and opportunities related to tin and tungsten.
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure operations comply with industry and environmental regulations for tin and tungsten mining.
  • Promote adherence to safety protocols and environmental best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

  • 7–10 years of experience in mineral processing, with a focus on tin and tungsten.
  • Proven experience managing large teams and overseeing complex operations.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong expertise in tin and tungsten processing technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with experience reporting to senior management and shareholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
