Qualifications Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Draftsman with a strong background in the aluminum manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D) and possess the ability to create high-quality technical drawings. Experience with SketchUp for visualization and prototyping is a must. This role involves collaborating with engineering and production teams to develop accurate designs and drawings that meet industry standards and client specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Degree or Certification in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Draftsman or in a similar role within the aluminum manufacturing or related industries.
  • Able to converse in English.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) is essential.
  • Experience with SketchUp or other 3D modeling software.
  • Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes specific to aluminum.
  • Ability to create accurate, detailed, and high-quality technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for aluminum manufacturing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Location: Puncak Alam, Selangor.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD for aluminum manufacturing projects.
  • Use SketchUp to create 3D models for product prototypes and design presentations.
  • Work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure designs align with project requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Review and interpret design specifications and blueprints to create precise drawings.
  • Modify and update technical drawings based on feedback or changes in project requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOM), technical reports, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Maintain design improvements to enhance product performance, quality, and manufacturability.
  • Coordinate with production teams to review technical drawings before implementation.
  • Maintain organized records of all technical drawings, project files, and revisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM5,000.00 per month
