  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position Summary:

Painter works closely with painter team leader to perform painting works interior and exterior surfaces. Job duties shall include removing old paint, priming surfaces, choosing materials, selecting and mixing colors and cleaning up job sites. This role will also be required to train and coach new team mates or interns joining the department.

Scope and Responsibilities:

· Applies coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and other structures: Reads work order or receives instructions from supervisor regarding painting works.

· Smooth surfaces, using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool, and removes old paint from surfaces, using paint remover, scraper, wire brush, or blowtorch to prepare surfaces for painting.

· Selects premixed paints, or mixes required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors.

· To perform FRP repairing works for the rides FRP profile and FRP props.

· To perform Water Park slides repairing and maintenance works.

· To perform and completed all the INFO system work order assigned by superior.

· To work with team in completing the duties assigned.

· To perform all the daily, weekly and monthly checklists assigned by superior.

· To assist any special tasks as and when required.

· Comply with Company’s rules and regulations with respect to safety at work place.

Background and Experience:

· Require a minimum of one (1) year painting or building maintenance experience.

· Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them.

· Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques.

· Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.).

· Good basic math skills.

· Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.

· Conscientious with great attention to detail.

Education:

Candidate must possess at least SPM or Diploma for any vocational skill courses or Diploma in Building Services Engineering.

Additional Information:

· Malaysian.

· Fully vaccinated.

· Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends to support park operations.
