Seeking a dynamic, resultsoriented Senior Marketing Manager to drive our global marketing strategy, expand our digital presence, lead day-to-day marketing campaigns, and engage prospective families. In this key position, you will develop a distinctive social media approach, enhance our newly launched website, and optimize the OpenApply CRM system to boost enquiries and increase conversions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1) Strategic Marketing Plan and Action Plan

  • Implement the Strategic Marketing Plan and develop the Action Plan
  • Collaborate with the Senior Communications Manager to ensure messaging and campaigns reinforce the College’s reputation and vision.

2) Social Media Strategy

  • Implement a social media approach that highlights the distinctiveness of our ethos, ambitions, and academic excellence aligned with our strategic priorities.
  • Use data-driven insights to expand global reach, engage audiences and convert prospective families.

3) Global Reputation & Pupil Recruitment

  • Execute a comprehensive plan to strengthen Marlborough College Malaysia’s global reputation, positioning the College as a leading choice for families seeking high-quality education, especially boarding.
  • Partner with Admissions to target international audiences, increase enquiries, and boost overall enrollment.

4) Website Enhancement & Management

  • Oversee and continuously enhance the newly launched website to keep it innovative, visually appealing, user-friendly and engaging.
  • Ensure the website remains a powerful recruitment tool by effectively sharing the College’s story, key differentiators, parental advocacy and academic highlights.
  • Implement best practices SEO and content strategy to keep the site dynamic and relevant.

5) OpenApply CRM System & Email Marketing

In close collaboration with the Senior Communications Manager

  • Implement and develop the OpenApply CRM to automate and optimise email marketing campaigns.
  • Create professional emails and newsletters to deliver highly relevant content to prospective families and agents.
  • Maintain brand consistency and messaging across all email communications.

6) Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor the Creative Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Officer, and Videographer to deliver cohesive, impactful campaigns.
  • Close collaboration with the Director of Admissions and Marketing, Head of Admissions and Senior Communications Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ International Marketing/ Business Administration or related field qualifications with at least 5 years’ experience in the related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and strategy execution, ideally within the education sector
  • Technical expertise in website management, SEO, CRM systems and multi-channel campaign execution.
  • Track record of leading and managing high-performing teams to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data driven decisions.
  • A creative thinker who excels at both innovation and practical execution.
  • Highly motivated by results and measurable impacts.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience guiding teams and multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives on cross-functional cooperation.
