Technical Support Executive
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance Coordination:
- Respond to and prioritize maintenance requests via the school's work order system (e.g.: CMMS)
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
- Collaborate with staff to address facility-related issues promptly.
2. Vendor & Resource Management:
- Liaise with external contractors and vendors to ensure quality service and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts; assist in procurement processes.
3. Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety. and environmental regulations.
- Participate in emergency response drills (e.g.: fire, electrical outages) and provide real-time support during crises.
4. Documentation & Sustainability:
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Support sustainability initiatives, such as energy efficiency programs and waste reduction.
5. Technical Support:
- Provide hands-on assistance for facility upgrades, event setups, and equipment installations.
- Train staff on basic equipment use and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 2 to 3 years in technical support/ facilities maintenance. Experienced in school/large organizations.
- Proficiency in CMMS, MS Office, and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) Knowledge of OSHA/ISO standards.
- Relevant certifications (e.g.; OSHA, HVAC)
- Fluency in English ; additional languages advantageous in multilingual settings.
Working Conditions
- On-site role with occasional on-call duties for emergencies.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and physical tasks.
