Job Description

  • Assist Heads of Department in consolidating their information requirements (including type of date/analysis, frequency, level of details, etc.), identifying gaps in current information provided and their actual requirements.
  • Review all the system reports and non-system generated reports to identify areas of overlaps and where the present IT systems are able or not able to provide the required information.
  • Review all systems generated information to determine and ensure integrity, accuracy and validity of date presented.
  • To highlight missing/incomplete information generated by the system for rectification and/ or modifications or amendments/deletion.
  • Review reporting tools used and where necessary, propose new analytical tools including Artificial Intelligence and automation that will meet the report generation requirements.
  • Assist in the design, development and implementation of dashboards for management use.
  • Assist in the preparation of SOP's on reports generations process and methodology on validation of data source, data collection and reports generation including dashboards.
  • Prepare an annual plan (in collaboration with the Group's Internal Audit Department) for auditing the internal reporting processes and reports generated to ensure accuracy, validity and security of the information and data.
  • Carry out the approved audit plan as approved and seek prior approval for any chances in the audit plan. Prepare reports to CEO/Director on results of audits and findings.
  • Assist in the sustainability reporting process for date collection, verification, analysis and reporting.
  • Any other assignments and projects that may be assigned from time to time by the CEO/Director.

Specific Skills/Preference

  • Have 3-5 years' experience in internal/external auditing or IT department for Public Listed Companies OR Multinational Companies(MNC) or International Accounting Firms or Management Consulting Organizations.
  • Have hands-on experience in system analysis and use of reporting and analysis tools.
  • Able to develop and implement dashboards using analytical tools such as Power BI.
  • Have strong knowledge of the ERP systems and reporting requirements of a manufacturing organization covering all functional areas including manufacturing, supply chain management and sales operations and sales management and CRM systems.
  • Able to develop SOP documentation for system generated reports, data analysis methodology and training materials for users.
  • Have some project planning and project management experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills and have a keen eye for details.
  • Able to grasp and understand new concepts and principles quickly and identify gaps, related and interlinked issues and areas for change and improvements
  • Able to collaborate with the various departments to propose and get buying by respective process owners of effective action plans for implementation.
  • Able to train and educate user department staff on data analysis (source integrity to data collection and analysis)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
