  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

RESPONSIBILITIES AUTHORITIES

  • Start up / setting of machine parameter for every mould put up on DCM. Ensure the quality is good before hand over to production.
  • Troubleshoot any quality issue or machine issue encounter by the production. (Daily activities)
  • Carry out mould testing on casting machine. Follow up testing result to find out the best casting parameter.
  • Ensure proper recording on test result (include casting parameter, problem encountered, action taken, yield, defect breakdown, cycle time & etc.).
  • Assist Casting Engineering Technician on following up on improvement activities to achieve target until pilot run.
  • Assist Casting Engineering Techinican to trouble-shoot quality issues (high reject) and ensure proper documentation of the activities.
  • Follow up process improvement activities to improve yield, cycle time, reduce reject & etc.
  • Follow up new project and ECO and ensure activities are carried on in the event Casting Engineering Technician is not available.
  • To assist Casting Engineer to ensure new project or engineering change (ECO) is implemented, documented and handed over properly to Production; and to assist Casting Engineering to follow up quality problem and process improvement activities in the event Casting Engineering Technician is not available.
  • Support in any additional task as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Materials or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent

WORKING EXPERIENCE

  • Preferably 2 years in manufacturing, die casting, metal or similar industry.
  • Preferably with analytical mind and hands on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
