
Design & Technology and ICT Teacher (Expat)
- Plan and deliver engaging and hands-on lessons in Design & Technology and ICT based on the curriculum.
- Teach students how to use digital tools, software, coding languages, and emerging technologies.
- Guide students in design thinking, engineering concepts, and prototyping, using tools like CAD software and 3D printing.
- Foster problem-solving, innovation, and critical thinking skills through project-based learning.
- Introduce students to robotics, programming, and cybersecurity where applicable.
- Assess student progress through practical projects, assignments, and exams, providing constructive feedback.
- Encourage collaborative learning through group projects and interdisciplinary activities.
- Ensure a safe and well-managed classroom environment, especially when handling tools and technology.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress and development.
- Participate in school activities, extracurricular clubs, and technology/design competitions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design & Technology, ICT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Design & Technology and/or ICT.
- Experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong technical and digital skills, including knowledge of coding, robotics, CAD software, and design technology tools.
