  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Overview

UCSI Schools is looking for a passionate and experienced Expat Design & Technology Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that develop students' problem-solving, creativity, and technical skills through hands-on projects and innovative teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons based on the school’s curriculum.
  • Develop and implement practical and theoretical learning activities that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Guide students in design projects, prototyping, and the use of tools, materials, and digital technology.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and reports while providing constructive feedback.
  • Encourage students to explore engineering, product design, and innovation.
  • Ensure a safe and well-organized workshop environment.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the school's STEM and technology programs.
  • Participate in school activities, including extracurricular programs and school events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design & Technology, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Design & Technology or related subjects.
  • Experience in CAD software, 3D printing, robotics, or digital fabrication (preferred).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Passion for innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning.
