  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5 years experience
  • Experience in road related projects including road construction, road maintenance, contract and site supervision, roadworks specifications, production of road maintenance programmes, road inventory, site and office staff control and management

Job Responsibilities :

  • To develop a relationship with the Head of Department and prepare periodical reports on the progress of work.
  • Prepare and monitor a work program of the project. Manage and supervise maintenance activities at site to ensure works are done in accordance to specification and time frame, all year round.
  • To oversee quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensure that regulations are adhered to.
  • To resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
  • To prepare necessary paperwork for the completion of work and get it authorized by the client after their inspection.
  • Prepare sub-contract documentation for appointment of sub-contractors (Documentation to be submitted to Contract Department for further action).
  • Manage, coordinate and implement the Municipal Road Maintenance activities are properly executed as required by the company’s objective, policy, client’s requirements and government’s regulations
  • Manage and implement the maintenance operation in accordance and fulfills the Consession Agreement’s term and condition
  • Undertake and responsible the administrative duties as a deputy department head of the area within set of authorities’ limits
  • To help Area Manager to plan, coordinate, monitor, control and review the budget and business plan
  • Ensure all records pertaining to the maintenance activities are well kept maintain and control and to ensure the private and confidential documents are not expose to the public
  • Propose, submit proposal remedial works/treatment workson road failure and ensure the budget are available before execute the works
  • Coordinate, monitor, prepare, compile and submit progress works reports to the clients and superiors as schedule
  • Monitor all claims to the client or claim received from the sub-contractors are submitted properly and timely and paid accordingly
  • Ensure all activities or works at site are executed accordance to requirement and quality and paid by the client
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, attend meeting as required by the management, client, and authorities
  • Plan, coordinate, monitor all activites related to the operation at site are safe and environmentally friendly
  • Manage complaints effectively and efficiently and ensure all corrective and preventive actions are properly and timely taken, recorded and reported
  • Maintain and improve good working relationship with the relevant local authorities, the company organization and group of companies
  • Ensure all company assets movement are traceable, properly control and always maintain in good condition
  • Monitor, coordinate, conduct domestic inquiry and ensure the staff and sub-contractor discipline are met the company’s policy, rules, regulations standardand government regulation
  • Undertake other duties as and when directed by the superiors.
  • Coordinate stakeholder on maintaining good relationship with client.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,402.00 - RM6,318.00 per month
