Procurement Officer

Job Overview: Responsible for supporting the procurement team in acquiring goods and services in a timely and cost-effective manner. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the procurement process runs smoothly, involving vendor coordination, order management, and maintaining accurate procurement records.

Key Responsibilities:

· Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.

· Reviewing, comparing and analysing products and services to be purchased.

· To assist Procurement Executive to track the status of any orders.

· To ensure that any invoices are sent to accounts.

· To produce and maintain all trackers and paperwork until completion and closing of a Purchase Order in the system.

· To provide regular, accurate and up to date feedback and information to their immediate superiors.

· To carry out duties as tasked with a professional attitude, ensuring that the theme park service standards, objectives and code of conduct are met or exceeded at all times.

· Arranging transportation and shipping where necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Procurement or a related field.
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Skills Requirements:

· Fluent in written and verbal English and Bahasa Malaysia, (Mandarin speaker added advantage).

· Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Procurement Management, Business Administration or related field.

· Fresh graduate or 1 year of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position.

· Creative problem-solving ability.

· Multitasking and meeting strict deadlines.

· Articulate and assertive in communicating ability.

· Experience within construction related industry preferred.

· Candidate should be a good negotiator and good sourcing skills.

· Able to work independently and willing to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
