Job Summary:

The Warranty Manager is responsible for overseeing all warranty-related operations within the insurance department, ensuring that warranty claims are processed efficiently, and maintaining compliance with company policies and insurance guidelines. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and customers to manage warranty claims and improve overall service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement warranty policies and procedures in compliance with insurance and company standards.
  • Manage and oversee warranty claims processing, ensuring accuracy and timely resolutions.
  • Analyze warranty trends to identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with insurance providers, suppliers, and service providers regarding warranty claims and reimbursement.
  • Ensure all warranty documentation is accurately maintained and up to date.
  • Train and support internal teams on warranty processes and best practices.
  • Monitor warranty costs and work on cost reduction strategies without compromising service quality.
  • Handle customer escalations related to warranty disputes and provide satisfactory resolutions.
  • Work closely with insurance claims, aftersales, service, and quality assurance teams to enhance service efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warranty management, preferably in the insurance or automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of warranty processes, claims management, and insurance policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address warranty-related issues.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Proficiency in warranty management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with insurance providers, automotive brands, or dealership networks.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair processes and insurance claim handling.
  • Certification in warranty management or insurance-related fields is an advantage.
