  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for a Junior Software Test Engineer to join our team, supporting the quality assurance process by assisting in designing, implementing, and executing automated and manual tests for software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Case Development: Assist in writing and maintaining test cases for web applications and APIs.
  • Test Execution: Perform manual and automated test execution for React.js applications and Node.js APIs.
  • Defect Reporting: Identify, log, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear testing documentation.
  • Automation Assistance: Support in writing basic automated test scripts using Jest, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain test environments under guidance.
  • CI/CD Support: Assist in integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to understand project requirements.
  • Learning & Development: Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates or 1+ year in software quality assurance or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Jest, or Cypress.
  • Problem-Solving: Willingness to learn and strong analytical skills.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication.
  • Team Player: Positive attitude and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
