Responsibilities:
1. Assist the QA Manager in quality functions.
2. Collaborate with customers to meet quality objectives and expectations:-
- Analyze customer-returned products.
- Educate Quality Inspectors on customer reject samples and issues.
- Verify and trace nonconforming material / product.
- Notify, segregate, evaluate, and dispose of nonconforming materials / products.

3. Handle internal and external nonconformity reports
- Review nonconformities, issue CPAR, and raise RMA.
- Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Follow up, monitor, verify, and document results.
- Review effectiveness and implement preventive measures.

4. Work with the QA Supervisor to drive continuous improvement:
- Share quality-related updates with the production team.
- Ensure prompt implementation of quality improvements.
- Coordinate with Engineering for tooling and production process issues.
5. Monitor the implementation of SPC methods and data entry performance:
- Ensure SPC records are up to date.
6. Coordinate and manage customer audits within the factory.
7. Conduct periodic audits to validate CPAR submissions to customers.
8. Monitor product quality performance and generate daily reports.
9. Attend customer quality meetings (via Zoom or on-site).
10. Collaborate with engineering and non-engineering departments to resolve customer complaints:
- Conduct 8D reviews with all relevant departments.
- Arrange CAPA meetings with Production and Engineering.
11. Assist Purchasing in new supplier qualifications.
12. Participate in ISO9001 Quality Management System audits:
- Conduct internal quality audits.
- Attend management review meetings.
13. Prepare and maintain QSI/SIP documentation.
14. Lead monthly quality report presentations:
- Conduct bi-monthly quality meetings.
15. Ensure workplace housekeeping aligns with 5S requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in injection molding.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Bahasa Malaysia & English).
- Proficient in written English.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
- Proficient in computer skills.
Authority:
- Ensure product compliance with customer requirements and management objectives.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition with periodic calibration.
- Train and qualify subordinates before work commencement:
- Ensure understanding of QSI, OS, and Caution Points.
- Enforce inspection frequency and methodology as per OS at workstations.
- Ensure all CP, OS/WI, and QSI/SIP align with the latest customer drawings.
Working Conditions:
