Job Description: Logistics Assistant
OVERALL PURPOSE
The purpose of the Logistic Assistant is to process and pack all incoming units for
repair and all out-going units after repair or scrap. Logistic Assistant is
responsible to assist Logistic Supervisor in all activities within the RC Logistic Area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1 To receive all units incoming from Regional Logistics Center (RLC) into the EMS system.
2 To attach all units with corresponding Traveller Form, batch labels and send the units to the respective repair area.
3 To check that the serial number of the unit and the Traveller Form is the same.
4 To ship out all units out-going to Regional Logistics Center (RLC) into the EMS system.
5 To print out box labels and pack the units according to Ericsson quality standard.
6 To arrange all units according to the Ship List, check that all the serial numbers are corresponding to the Ship List and send them to RLC.
7 To ensure that all Ericsson Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) rules are followed strictly.
8 To pack miscellaneous shipments to be sent out from RRC when necessary.
9 To assist in any logistics matters when necessary.
10 To be responsible for the storage of Traveller Forms and other logistics documentation in RC Logistics in the designated area.
11 To compile quality data reporting when necessary.
12 To be responsible in monitoring the scrap unit.
13 To assist RC Logistic Supervisor to prepare the daily output report.
14 To assist RC Logistic Supervisor to monitor stock level of packing material used in RC Logistic.
AUTHORITIES
1 Responsible and accountable for entering data into the EMS system and packing the units before sending to RLC

INTERFACES
1 Internal: Reference to all HWS RRC Departments on all RC Logistic Issues &
QUALITY ISSUE
1 External: Ongoing liaison with Vendors for Packing Materials.
REPORTING
1 Responsible for all order acknowledgement & shipping reports generate from EMS in daily basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
