Technical Sales Engineer
Employment Location: Kuala Lumpur City Center & Penang
*** Performance Bonus available
Working Days / Hours : Mon – Fri (8:30am - 5:30pm)
Reporting to : Sales Director
*** This position required to travel to Penang & KL.
Primary Priorities:
- This position will be responsible to maintain and grow existing customers and key task will be to focus on developing new customers to grow in the Malaysia market.
- The candidate maybe be based in Penang or KL, Malaysia.
Priorities:
- Evaluate and develop strategies for targeted market to generate new leads and opportunities.
- Build strong and collaborative relationship with customers.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure smooth delivery to customers.
- Conduct market research, forecast and feedback to Sales Director for assessment
- Drive product presentation and penetration with confidence
- Sales driven mind-set with focus in achieving the sales revenue
- “Hunter” like mentality to look for new customers
- Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in the OEMs, electronics, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong technical acumen and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements:
01. Diploma/ degree in Engineering is a must; preferably electrical-trained
02. At least 4-5 years relevant Sales experience in a relevant segment/industry
03. Highly motivated, results-oriented, and proactive individual who thrives on the challenge of acquiring new clients
04. Knowledge in handling low voltage electrical product
05. Excellent communicator and team player
06. High degree of initiative, drive and responsibility
07. Familiarity and preference working with an SME-type structure
08. Required to travel within Malaysia and in the region on requirement basis
09. Good English fluency

Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
