About the role
This full-time Process Engineer role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Mewah Group in their Lahad Datu, Sabah, Malaysia location. As a Process Engineer, you will play a vital part in the Chemical Engineering operations of the organisation, contributing to the company's continued success and growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee and optimise the manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, safe and consistent production
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Troubleshoot process issues and develop solutions to minimise downtime
  • Analyse production data and provide recommendations for process and equipment modifications
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to achieve operational goals
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 3 years' experience as a Process Engineer in a Palm Oil Refinery or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of chemical processes, production equipment and quality control principles
  • Proficiency in data analysis and process optimisation techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Familiarity with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  • knowledge in Quality , Food & Feed Safety Management system such as ISO 9001, FFSC 22000 and HACCP will be added advantage.
  • Fresh graduate with good CGPA as welcome
