JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Install and configure copier and multifunctional devices, ensuring seamless integration with customer systems, including PCs, printers, and networks.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including connectivity problems, error codes, paper jams, image quality issues, and solution/application errors.
  • Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues promptly and efficiently, both on-site and remotely.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on devices to ensure reliability and minimize downtime, including cleaning, inspecting, and replacing consumables such as rollers, toners, drums, and other parts.
  • Maintain detailed records of preventive maintenance, service activities, and parts used, ensuring accurate logs and service reports.
  • Provide training and support to customers, ensuring they are equipped to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot their devices effectively.
  • Collect and submit meter readings accurately and on time for billing purposes.
  • Ensure proper documentation and submission of service reports and spare parts requisition forms.
  • Attend training sessions, certification programs, Kyocera Academy, and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Keep up to date with technical service bulletins, manuals, modification kits, and other relevant documents to stay informed on the latest changes and best practices.
  • Work with other departments to address customer needs and resolve copier-related issues.

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical certifications (e.g., in IT or related fields) are a plus.
  • Previous experience in servicing or troubleshooting copiers, printers, and multifunctional devices is an added advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with technical certification and related courses are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong technical skills in diagnosing and resolving both hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Job required to travel around Klang Valley.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
