- Oversee and manage Electrical works.
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and work plans for Electrical components.
- Coordinate with civil and structural teams to ensure seamless integration of Electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with local authorities' requirements, such as CIDB, DOSH, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, and SPAN.
- Supervise on-site Electrical construction activities to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to achieve project milestones.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Ensure all Electrical works comply with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Ensure Electrical works comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., MS IEC, JKR specifications, UBBL).
- Conduct quality checks and testing for Electrical installations.
- Work closely with consultants, authorities, and project stakeholders for inspections and approvals.
- Monitor project costs and control budget for Electrical works.
- Optimize resources, manpower, and materials to prevent wastage and delays.
- Prepare progress reports, claims, and variation orders related to Electrical works.
- Ensure compliance with site safety requirements, including OSHA and CIDB regulations.
- Identify potential risks in Electrical works and implement mitigation measures.
- CIDB Green Card
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certification (if applicable)
- PMP or other project management certifications Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction with a focus on Electrical works.
- Experience in high-rise, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical systems.
- Familiarity with Malaysian construction codes and regulations (e.g., CIDB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, DOSH).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, or other project management tools.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
