  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

About Us:
We are a leading company specializing in formwork structures, construction, and scaffolding solutions. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Engineering Design to lead our design team and drive innovation in our engineering processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of engineering design experience in a construction-related company, with at least 10 years in a managerial role.
  • Industry Preference: Candidates from formwork, scaffolding, or civil & structural engineering design consultant firms are highly preferred.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the engineering design team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team's technical knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure designs meet project needs and adhere to international standards.
  • Optimize design processes and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
  • Establish KPIs for design productivity and performance, driving continuous improvement.
  • Oversee product development and ensure the effective utilization of engineering resources within budget constraints.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance design practices.
  • Provide technical presentations/workshops to clients to communicate design solutions and value propositions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with design projects, ensuring safety and reliability.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively, demonstrating strong project management skills.
  • Report to board level on design department performance and improvements.
  • Implement and enhance design software and management control systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for resolving complex design and technical challenges.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strategic leader with extensive experience in formwork, scaffolding, or construction engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of temporary works, structural engineering, and safety standards.
  • Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering design.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to clients and stakeholders.
