To handle full set of Company’s accounts which entails the following:-
- Record accounting transactions (Journal Vouchers, Payment Vouchers, Receipt Vouchers, Sales Invoices, Purchase Bills, Expense Bills).
- Ensure all accounting transaction documents are complete and accurate.
- Maintain up-to-date and systematic filing of accounting records and documents.
- Prepare internal company billings and reconciliation of balances.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts and inter-company balances.
- Maintain accurate records of income and expenses.
- Manage accounts payables and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
- Oversee accounts receivables and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare progress claims, sales invoices, statements of accounts, and other accounts receivable reports.
- Record monthly journal entries and perform monthly account analyses.
- Ensure month-end reconciliations, management accounts, and sub-reports are completed by the monthly deadlines. Report to supervisor or finance manager.
- Assist in preparing audit documentation, tax schedules, and corporate tax computations.
- Ensure accounting records comply with internal and external audit requirements and adhere to the Company’s internal control processes.
- Provide support for daily accounting tasks and office administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor or finance manager.
- Undertake special assignments, ad hoc functions, and other duties as necessary
