Internship in Accounting & Finance Key Responsibilities Accounting System Management: Assist in managing financial records using the company’s accounting system. Perform data entry, account reconciliation, and ensure accuracy in financial transactions. Generate financial reports, statements, and other required documents. Audit Support: Assist in preparing and organizing financial documents for internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with audit requirements and address any documentation gaps. Support the finance team in coordinating with auditors and responding to queries. Tax Assistance: Support the preparation and submission of tax documentation. Assist in gathering financial data and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely tax reporting and filing. General Accounting Tasks: Assist in accounts payable and receivable processing. Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities. Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial records. Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements in financial and accounting processes. Assist in updating financial policies and documentation for better efficiency. Requirements Currently pursuing a degree only in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (experience is a plus). Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
