Position Overview: WeChat Pay Payment Gateway Tester is responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and security of the WeChat Pay payment integration and transaction processing system. As WeChat Pay is one of the most widely used mobile payment solutions, testing its integration with e-commerce platforms, mobile applications, and backend systems is crucial to provide seamless payment experiences for end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test WeChat Pay Integration:
  • Conduct functional and regression testing of WeChat Pay integration within different platforms (web, mobile, and backend systems).
  • Test different payment scenarios, including successful transactions, failed transactions, refunds, and cancellations.
  • Ensure that the payment gateway integration complies with the WeChat Pay API guidelines and standards.
  • Test Payment Flow:
  • Verify the end-to-end payment flow from the initiation of payment to confirmation and final settlement.
  • Test for user authentication, payment authorization, error handling, and response time.
  • Perform testing with different currencies, languages, and international payment methods.
  • Verify Security & Compliance:
  • Ensure the system adheres to security standards such as data encryption, tokenization, and PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Identify and report any vulnerabilities in the payment gateway, ensuring that all transactions are secure.
  • Test various fraud prevention measures integrated into WeChat Pay (e.g., anti-fraud mechanisms, verification steps).
  • Test Cross-Platform Compatibility:
  • Test the WeChat Pay integration across different operating systems (Android, iOS) and browsers (Chrome, Safari, etc.).
  • Perform usability testing to ensure the payment gateway offers a smooth user experience across different devices.
  • Performance and Load Testing:
  • Simulate high-volume transaction scenarios to test the performance and scalability of the WeChat Pay system.
  • Identify bottlenecks and report performance issues that may impact transaction success.
  • Bug Reporting & Documentation:
  • Log and track all test results, providing detailed bug reports and troubleshooting findings.
  • Work closely with developers to assist in resolving issues and retesting fixes.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on testing processes, methodologies, and test case scenarios.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Provide feedback on the testing processes and suggest improvements for better efficiency and effectiveness in WeChat Pay integration.
  • Stay up-to-date with updates to the WeChat Pay API and make necessary testing adjustments as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of payment gateways, especially mobile payment systems like WeChat Pay.
  • Familiarity with WeChat Pay API integration, including testing methods for payment processing, error handling, and transaction validation.
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) and manual testing.
  • Experience:
  • Experience in testing mobile payment systems or similar platforms.
  • Prior experience in API testing, particularly with payment APIs.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to report findings clearly and effectively.
  • Preferred:
  • Knowledge of security standards like PCI-DSS, TLS/SSL, and encryption protocols.
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.

Pay: RM100.00 - RM300.00 per week
