Requirements Key Responsibilities: Environment Management:

  • Manage environments running on Windows and UNIX-based operating systems (HPUX, Linux, Solaris).
  • Administer and support middleware platforms such as Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, and IIS.
  • Perform system monitoring, log analysis, and incident management for optimal environment performance.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain application servers and web servers.

Troubleshooting & Support:

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure and middleware issues to ensure high system availability.
  • Provide extended support to project teams, including after-hours and weekend support, as needed.
  • Work closely with developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to diagnose and resolve issues.

Database & Scripting:

  • Write and maintain scripts for automation, monitoring, and environment configuration.
  • Troubleshoot database-related issues and ensure database connectivity for applications.
  • Work with SQL scripting and database optimization techniques.

Automation & Security:

  • Implement automation for repetitive tasks, deployments, and environment management.
  • Ensure SSL certificate deployment, renewal, and troubleshooting to maintain security compliance.
  • Adhere to security policies and best practices for infrastructure and application environments.

Required Skills & Experience: Technical Skills:

Middleware Administration: Hands-on experience with Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, and IIS.

Operating System Management: Strong knowledge of Windows and UNIX-based OS (HPUX, Linux, Solaris).

Troubleshooting & Support: Experience in identifying and resolving application/environment issues.

Database & Scripting: Proficiency in SQL scripting, shell scripting, and automation scripting.

SSL Management: Experience in SSL certificate deployment, renewal, and troubleshooting.

Automation: Knowledge of CI/CD, scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell), and DevOps practices.

Experience Required:

  • 6 to 9 years of experience in environment support, system administration, or middleware support.
  • Experience in digital banking environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management is an advantage.
