
Pre-School Educator
Job Description
We are looking for a caring, experienced, and dedicated Personal Private Nursery Teacher / Preschool Teacher to provide one-on-one early childhood education for our child in the comfort of our home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, a passion for teaching young children, and the ability to create a fun, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Personalized Lesson Planning:
- Design and deliver a customized curriculum tailored to the child’s developmental needs, interests, and learning style.
- Incorporate play-based learning, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and other activities to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Child Development:
- Monitor and support the child’s progress in all areas of development (cognitive, language, motor skills, social-emotional).
- Identify and address any learning challenges or developmental delays in collaboration with parents.
One-on-One Teaching:
- Provide individualized attention to ensure the child’s academic and personal growth.
- Foster a love for learning through engaging and interactive teaching methods.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure a safe and hygienic learning environment at all times.
- Administer basic first aid if needed and follow safety protocols.
Parent Communication:
- Provide regular updates to parents on the child’s progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with parents to set learning goals and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
Routine and Structure:
- Establish a daily routine that balances learning, play, and rest.
- Encourage positive habits, such as good manners, independence, and self-discipline.
Cultural Sensitivity:
- Respect and incorporate the family’s cultural values and traditions into the learning process.
Resource Preparation:
- Prepare teaching materials, activities, and resources to support the child’s learning.
Travel and Flexibility:
- Be willing to travel to the family’s home and adapt to the family’s schedule as needed.
Requirements:
Education and Certification:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool, or one-on-one setting.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing personality.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to the child’s unique needs.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in English. Proficiency in Mandarin, or other languages is an advantage.
Other Requirements:
- Must pass a background check and provide references.
- Own transportation is preferred.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
