QAQC Engineer

· Responsible for the coordination and monitoring in compliance with specification and Project Quality Plan requirements and in all areas related to QAQC · To manage full set of document controller task · Carry out internal and subcontractor/supplier quality audit. · Report product quality issues, and work with engineers to carry out root cause analysis to determine causes of defects. · To oversee the inspection and verification roles and quality related issues to ensure contract works comply with contract specification and drawings. · To assist structural, M&E and architecture departments to submit to the related consultants the works method statement and materials samples. · Liaise with sub-contractors/customers on site quality issues and carry out investigation to identify causes of complaints and seek for solution and correction of defective works. Verify that non-conformance are reworked and acceptable for release/closure. · To ensure materials and workmanship compliance with specifications. · To assist respective section/department managers on the submission of method statement and material samples. · To attend site progress meetings with client, consultant and sub-contractors · Assist the Quality Manager on ISO9001 implementation and Identify the need for new / revised procedures to support the implementation of the QMS. · To ensure all filing and documentations are in compliance with the Department operation and ISO procedure. · To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company. · Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management. REQUIREMENTS: • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia • At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field • Good communication skill, team work, positive attitude, strong integrity, strong sense of responsibility, good problem solving skills, good time management, good leadership. • Able to read and understand construction drawings • Ability to work under tight schedules and willing to work long hours during tendering stage. • Willing to travel from one site to another • Preferably possess own transport
