Test Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Test Manager to join our dynamic team. The IT Test Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's digital banking systems by leading and managing the QA team. This role will involve introducing and implementing test automation, overseeing manual and automated testing processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities Test Strategy and Planning: • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans. • Define and establish quality standards and metrics for all phases of the software development lifecycle. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure they are testable. Test Automation: • Introduce and implement test automation frameworks and tools. • Identify opportunities for automation within the testing process. • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts. • Continuously improve and expand the automation coverage. Team Management: • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA analysts and test engineers. • Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure effective utilization of team members. • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members. • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Test Execution and Reporting: • Oversee the execution of manual and automated test cases. • Ensure thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing. • Track and report defects, ensuring timely resolution. • Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in software testing and automation. • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies. • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team. Collaboration and Communication: • Work closely with development, product, and project management teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of projects. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to provide updates on testing activities, risks, and issues. • Facilitate and participate in testing-related meetings and reviews. Job Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent • Minimum 4 years’ practical experience with test automation tools for both mobile and web app • Proactive and solution oriented • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • In-depth knowledge of test automation tools, techniques, methods and procedures • Knowledge in digital banking operations, products and services • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Test Manager or in a similar leadership role in QA/testing. • Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.). • Experience with manual testing techniques and methodologies. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. • Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. • Experience in the banking or financial services industry. • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) or related areas. • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes
